Tobidia is the Blog of Tobi Padwick. The name comes from an old website of mine. That site was devoted to fleshing out my political thoughts on America. This Tobidia is more of a journal, but it will probably have some political commentary too.

I am the 5th child of American immigrants. I am of Jamaican and English heritage and stand 6'4". I have been called lanky more than once. I believe we should try to be better people and to create a better world, not just a better U.S. I graduated from UTD after leaving UT to follow my ex-fiance' to Dallas. (Moving to Dallas has not been the total train wreck that it probably should have been.) I have been single since March 2004 although I do still dream of meeting a girl who likes me and is truly worth loving... and marrying her....Plus the happily ever after thing.... That too. (If you set your goals too low, you'll never accomplish anything.:P) I had wanted to discuss my family here, because once you know them, you know me.
